Capacitar for Kids: A Multicultural Wellness Program for Children, Schools & Families (120 pages, 2005), available in English & Spanish, offers a series of practices and tools to be used in the classroom, in daily life and in the home. Practices can readily be incorporated into the school curriculum to enrich all subject areas and can be offered to parents and community groups as a means to deal with stress-related problems. Capacitar for Children offers simple practical ways to support the learning process in the classroom and to heal physical and emotional symptoms related to traumatic stress. The program is designed to promote positive healthy attitudes in the person and to heal patterns of violence in the person and community.
